Food was legit. The Quesabirria tacos are on point, especially with that consume. My favorite is the pastor torta with their cheese... O. M. G. Chips and hot sauces were just right. That cheese though...its not your typical cheese. Trust. Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday, they have their pastor spinning around on their spit outside and they slice that bad boy fresh for your tacos.
Went to taqueria Portland first didn’t like the vibes and the 80s music. So came here and so happy I did tacos were great best meat was the pastor , the birra fries were okay but everything else great
The best tacos that I’ve had in the Portland metro area! This place is severely under rated on Google! It’s essentially a food cart with a super bougie patio area built around it. The service is fast and the tacos are delicious! A lot of taco carts tend to have dry meat due to frequently reheating their meats... but these tacos were tender, juicy, and crunchy with all the fresh toppings. Their salsa verde is also one of the bests I’ve had in a while. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by and checking these low-key amazing tacos out!
We had the birrieria quesadilla and tacos, asada nachos, and churros. Everything was delicious, the churros *chefs kiss* tender and gooey inside and crisp and coated in cinnamon sugar on the outside. Give em a try!
Their pork machete is amazing! It's massive and filling, and the hand made tortilla hits the spot. I've had their nachos, tacos, birria and burritos. Everything is flavorful and they don't skimp on filling. I love this spot!
I recommend the carnitas, cabeza, chorizo. the asada and the pastor are also pretty good. I got a Machete de chicharron and it was delicious. I like that they have a salsa bar. they have guacamole and many different types of salsas. everything is really good here.
A very good eat! I got 2 carne asada tacos, my fiance got the birria tacos plate, and our friend got the nachos. We ate quickly and quietly, which is always a good testament to the flavor. I personally didn't love the refried beans, but it wasn't enough of a deterrent to change my opinion. I highly recommend you to check it out if even remotely interested!
We’re visiting from Tennessee and absolutely loved our experience at Taqueria Mexa! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the aguas frescas were chefs kiss!! The rice was a little dry (probably just the end of the batch), but that didn’t take away from the overall meal. We’ll definitely be recommending this place and would come back if we’re ever back in Portland!
